Hailing from Milan, Italian-borne Sacramento are getting ready to release their first full-length album, Lido, on May 10th. With their 3 singles in 2018 – Love, Bed & Toothbrush and The Skate Rink – you can already realise that their sounds feeds on this modern approach to past-time reverberations and romantic 80’s riffs.

Their new music, Lido, debuting in Portugal exclusively through Threshold Magazine, is further proof of this sunny throwback, and the video, directed by Tania Feghali fits wonderfully to the calm, emotional sound from Sacramento that bridges the likes of Mac DeMarco and Kevin Morby.

Throughout the videoclip for Lido, we follow around the protagonist, played by Iris Humm, through her personal routine, in a series of shots that turn the banality of normal life into a nuanced erotic innuendo. The production follows the relaxed vibes of lo-fi video interspersed with home-made movies in a scenario that fits like a glove to Stefano Fileti‘s passionate voice, singing about a promised love. With a few stills or shots from erotic movies placed along the videoclip, it builds up to what is a physical conjuring of love and passion without being blatant or awkward about it. The very pertinent visual simplicity that Tania Feghali creates for Sacramento‘s sound renders a beautiful scenario, and a very complete audiovisual experience for all fans of indie music.

You can watch the clip for Sacramento‘s Lido below. Lido will feature in Sacramento‘s debut album, Lido, which will be released through La Tempesta Internacional on the 10th of May.
