In late 2016 the German band ZON – formed by more than ten years close friends and metalheads Phillip Tielsch (Von Spar) and Mario Katz (Cologne Tape) – released Palace, an intense and sharp-edged instrumental metal set composed by nine songs, and featuring John Stanier from Helmet, Battles and Tomahawk, on drums.
Now, they are back with a video for the single “Void”, included in Palace LP, where they explore the combination between geometric shapes, colors and 3D objects, in an ethereal metal song of two and a half minutes. Honey for your ears. “Void” appears as the first part of a trilogy where film artist Christopher Marquez and ZON are working on. The video for this single can be watched below.
